Job: (Junior) Business Consultant

Eyefreight is a young, fast-growing logistics management company with large multinational-class customers. We offer an innovative web-based (Software-as-a-Service) freight management application that registers and monitors the entire process or the workflow from freight entry up to and including invoice settlement.

Job Profile

We are looking for a (junior) business consultant who can support the implementation of our advanced freight management application and act as an intermediary between customer and developer.

The main operational tasks involve:

• Organize and lead short series of workshops at the customer’s location to identify as-is logistic scenarios, capture current organizational processes and formulate improvement proposals through the use of Eyefreight.
• Formulate functional requirements specifications for the development teams.
• Work with a technical project leader in guiding the customer to a successful implementation.
• Identify new potential project development areas and support project leaders in structuring and presenting project proposals.

Your profile

You are a dynamic, people-oriented professional who can easily relate to both technical and managerial counterparts. Moreover, you are a fast learning team-player, and are enthusiastic about adapting to a fast-changing operational and organizational context. Also, you are highly self-sufficient and self-disciplined.

You have:

• A Master’s Degree preferably in Business or Engineering.
• Fluency in English and one or more of the following languages: Italian, French, Spanish, German. Fluency in Russian or Chinese is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as the capability to produce powerful documentation.
• Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to take short trips abroad.
• Previous experience in logistics is not a necessity but being motivated to develop this experience is.
