Job: Developer

What we are looking for
Eyefreight is looking for an experienced or less experienced Java developer to strengthen our team. Preferably, you are accustomed to working in a project environment. As a Java developer at Eyefreight you understand that a successful project not only depends on technology, but you also acknowledge that the final result has to be user-friendly. That is why you always keep a birds-eye on the development project (design and building) and strive for the best result.

An experienced Java developer has:

• A higher education or college degree;
• Several years of experience in working with Java;
• Proven that he or she can control a development project from start to finish;
• Passion;
• Broad interest and knowledge of the business;
• The quality to solve an issues and find feasible solutions;
• An own vision on technological developments;
• A pleasant and honest character.

We also welcome less experienced Java developers to Eyefreight. We expect however that they have  a degree in information technology (or related). Furthermore, they have most qualities mentioned above.

What you will do
You will develop business critical Java applications with heavy server components and a rich Ajax user interface. Of course, it is essential that the final result is robust and performs well. Besides, we emphasize the quality of the design and usability of the service. This is why we often collaborate with interaction and visual designers.
