Job: Project Leader

Eyefreight is a young, fast-growing logistics management company with large multinational-class customers. We offer an innovative web-based (Software-as-a-Service) freight management application that registers and monitors the entire process or the workflow from freight entry up to and including invoice settlement.

 

Job Profile
We are looking for a project leader who is able to supervise on-site implementation processes for our customers. The project manager is accountable for all the aspects of the execution phase of an implementation project for a new customer and will play a key role in its success.

 

The main operational tasks involve:

  • define the implementation project planning, allocate resources and draw up a budget forecast;
  • communicate with the customer’s project owner;
  • define and create project deliverables and milestones;
  • identify potential risks in an early stage and report them to the senior management;
  • supervise and coordinate the implementation team;
  • define and plan development activities together with the technical project leader;
  • structure and present project proposals for further developments.

Your profile
You are a dynamic, people-oriented professional who can easily relate to both technical and managerial counterparts. The candidate is a fast learning team-player, and is enthusiastic about adapting to a fast-changing operational and organizational context and is highly self-sufficient and self-disciplined.

 

You have a:

  • Master’s Degree preferably in Business or Engineering. International experience is an advantage.
  • 5 years (or more) experience in a project manager position.
  • Demonstrable organizational and leadership skills.
  • A demonstrable track record in project management. Implementations in transport management or supply chain management are an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and one or more of the following languages: Italian, French, Spanish, German. Fluency in Russian or Chinese is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to take short trips abroad.
